STS-116 Discovery Space Shuttle Launch Thursday

This is about all I got for pictures. Lotsa cloud cover, but I had a good view for about a minute or so. Can't wait to see the pics from your club Steve K. I wish I was there.

Not too bad considering I am 150 miles away.

Here is a picture at lift-off from Fish Lips at the Port Canaveral. Without being on the Space Center Property, this is about as close as you can get. Thanks to Roger, our news letter editor for thr the photo.

i took some very poor quality vid of the launch last night i will have to see how it came out when i get off work on tuesday. i went to the launch and had a direct view of the launch pad. one of the best places i have found to view the launches besides on nasa property is right at the corner of hwy 50 and us 1. there is a direct line of sight to the launch pad from accross the water. we should try to plan a get together at the next launch.
