Tail of the Dragon Run/Rally

I'm not sure we can make the trip this spring, but I'll keep track of the details here and we'll see. My husband was taking pictures while I drove so he missed much of the view, but I'm glad I had him along. Those photos have made a great screen saver on our computers. :yesnod:

Yea i think i signed up here first and used "Getsum" i had never been on any forum before and hindsight is 2020 so i should have made the screennames the same on the other forum.
 
The last time I did the run it was mainly C6 ,C5 and C4 but there was one 64 vert that brought up the rear .As hard as we ran we did not loose the 64.Great credit goes to the classic Corvette .:thumbsup:

I've always had a great time even when we got rained on.

Oh boy the famous Jim kill is going to the dragon with us cool. Yea vern and i met you at the bbq at ferman. Its pretty neat how cars (vettes at least) can help you meet and make some great friends. I cant wait :dancer01:
 
Hey George I spoke with vetteboy last night. He has a lot of good insight into local spots and sites to visit. I think over the next couple a months we ought to get a good run together.
 
Looks like the national corvette museum is having an event the same weekend as our Freedom Rally. Should we reschedule? We need to Get a head count started.

I doubt that the event at the NCM will stop anyone from going on the TOD. I've talked to several of our club members and it looks like you can "pencil" in 6 so far.
 
Hi pres. The schedule sticks then. Did you get a copy of the flyer? What is your club name? I noticed your in Springhill. We live in Hudson.

By the way we are gettin Alot of requests to make it a 4 day deal. Thur,Fri,Sat,Sun Event. What do you guys think? Im diggin it.

I'm not sure what flyer you are refering to? My wife and I belong to the Bay Area Corvette Club, Clearwater. I used to live in Clearwater, joined in '93 so have stayed.

We are not able to find one large hotel/motel to gather at pres....So everybody is kinda winging it. My buddy george "not like me"on Digital Corvettes "getsum" on Florida Corvettes, and I are looking in the Telico Falls area and Robinsville. We have decieded to reserve a room by friday. We are loking at a couple of different places. Will post there Names tonight. Digital Corvettes is signing up people on The tail of the Dragon thread.There are also some hotel suggestions there as well.
 
I don't own a vette but would like to join the cruise up to Deals Gap.
I have 02 Camaro with LS2 custom turbo set up.
