Thinking of joiing a club

I am not the only one in this club who detests these shirts. I believe that next year this club is going to vote on changing the color.

I remember the first meeting I attended. I drive into this parking lot and BAM, here's over a hundred people wearing these godawful shirts. I didn't know if I was at a Vette club meeting or had accidentally stumbled onto a "Gay Pride" meeting...

Ahhhh, yes I remember "The Look" well. Then "the issues" came up primarily the boat (didn't own the Vette then). Now soon to be ex is a thousand miles away (not far enough), boat is gone, have my Cattledog and my 65'.

Our club is big and frankly, I don't know that many of the people personally. I know the pres, and one of the other officers, and a handful of members. Most I've met have been pretty decent people.

I always volunteer to do something in the clubs I have been in to meet people. Once you are known as a worker bee other members will want to know you better.
