Tire blow out?

Not a bad idea.

The new tire is supposed to show up tomorrow. Hopefully it will be the correct one.

Well, the new tire showed up before noon time, and it was the correct one. Darn miracle, considering the way my luck runs.

So Connie and I ran the tire and wheel out to McGee Goodyear and had them mount it balance the tire. They did it right away, so it was a pretty quick process. When we got back, I mounted the wheel back onto Connie's car, and that is done with. $461.80 later..... :ack2:

There not cheap .I wonder what the plan is for those who do not use runflats and have a large hole as you had .A fist full of plugs would be absolutely no good .:shrug01:

Well, if we had been in the C5Z, we would have been parked along the road waiting for a tow truck. Maybe even with a ruined wheel as well. I wonder if anything under the car would be scraping along the road too if a tire goes completely flat?
