Totaled Vette This weekend

There won't be a motivational quote today. I totaled my vette this weekend. I was running 50 or 55 and was heading into a long turn lane(left) and a car was not moving in front at the green light when I realized he wasn't going I swerved to the right hard to miss him sling shooting me towards a pole. I hit the pole head on. I'm ok just bruised and the normal stuff. My Vette is totaled obviously. I guess it was time to upgrade. Ah what the hell here is your motivational quote for the day.

Just because my car and I had a boo boo doesn't mean you all shouldn't have a quote. Now have a great day and go out and take on the world.

Our friend lost his FRC this weekend ans she is at house for the time being, It is totally sad! even wrecked she is still beautifull..

I hope things get good for you!! I really do, you have been having a rough time lately!
 
Damn, Sandman!! You have definitely been on a patch of rough road lately. Sorry to hear about the vette....... Man that had to be a heart breaker. But glad you didn't get banged up too badly. Did the airbag deploy?

Ya Rich Thankfully my airbag deployed. I was wearing my seat belt. My forarms are bruised pretty ugly from the steering wheel. The top of my head has burn marks from the airbag. AT least that is the only thing I could think off. Concusion no doubt and my left eyes pupil is not reacting very well.
My heart has really sunk. I can't believe all this shitz going on , but there is a purpose for everything. I think I am still glad to be here.;) No I can handle it with the big mans help. I am looking at more corvettes but haven't found anything. I'll find something. GMJunkie sells cars I willl have to see what he has. Can't afford a new one. LOL. Man I'm sorry to hear about your 'vette but very glad you're OK. Cars can be replaced but your life is a different story. The good news is, everything is gonna get better from here so keep your head up and let us know if there's anything we can do. :thumbsup:

Dang brother-man, I feel your pain. I've lost a vette before too but thank God for insurance. I hope you find a better one and it has an eject button in it.
No matter what kind of car we drive, it's just a car. Not too many SM's out there so take care of you because you're one of a kind.

Very glad to hear you're ok and I hope you heal up quickly.

Glad you're OK sorry about the car.
I did the same thing 2 years ago and once all the dust settled I ended up with a better car than I lost.
Hang in! Everything will work out.
