Tropical Storm Chris........

Friday I'm headed up north to Virginia for a week with my son. Hopefully by the time I get back Chris will be all old news.
 
Have a safe trip CREWZIN.
Hopefully Chris won't treat us too badly down here. We've got a little corvette caravan planned to Marco Island to take Rich 427 and his wife and friends out to lunch on Sunday when they come down to visit again...It's almost too much to hope that it won't rain...:NoNo:

Misfits? Let me know when you go to Marco. Very close to home. Or any Sunday for breakfast before it rains I'm ready as long as I am in town.:thumbsup:
 
Well the forecast now is calling for Chris to swing further south and cut across the length of Cuba. That should knock the wind out of it's sails pretty good. But once it gets out into the Gulf again, we'll have to keep an eye out. Unfortunately, once a tropical system gets into the Gulf of Mexico, usually someone is going to get clobbered by it.
 
Yeah, must be some wind shear or something. Looks like now the forecast is only predicting a tropical low when it reaches into the Gulf. :thumbsup:

Joyce and I are headed south 6:00 AM tomorrow morning and will be in Ft. Myers Saturday afternoon. Too old to drive straight through for 18 hours anymore! Looking forward to Sunday with you, Robert, Electra, Andy and the rest of the gang. Let's cross our fingers for no rain, but this time of year it is probably going to happen at some point in the day. If it turns out to be a nasty day, we can do something else. I'll call when we get in on Saturday!

Yes, some of the misfits from CF. We're also here!! Anyway, do you want to join us this Sunday at the Snook Inn for lunch. We're welcoming Rich427 and his wife to the area. There are about 8 cars going now. If you can come along or even if not could you please post here soon so Electra (Barb) can count you in the reservations? It would be nice to meet you and like you said, it's close to you :yesnod:
