• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

Ultimate Corvette party coming soon....

So I might be a little late meeting at the rest stop. Tracy ran into a fuel pump problem, but hes gonna be at the shop at 6am to get her running for the show. So looks like you boys wont have to worry about me turning into speed racer.

I'm hoping to meet up with you guys around 11:30-12:30? You all parking together somewhere?

Unfortunately, I won't be able to stay long. A clients son passed away the other day at 25yoa....very sad situation.

Going to his wake tomorrow afternoon around 2.....informal dress code thankfully.

I should see you guys and gals sometime tomorrow.

Everyone have a safe trip:wavey:

Joe aka 98Softtail and Mark aka THOR will be meeting at the rest stop at 8 am on I-75 north of the I-275 and I-75 split. We will wait for anyone else who is traveling North and will leave rest stop about 8:15-8:20. We will drive to MacD's and see if anyone is there and if not, then will proceed to the UCP. We should arrive at MacD's about 8:35 or so or the show at 8:40 if no one is at MAcD's. Hope this helps.:thumbsup:

Hopefully the batmobile is fast enough to get there in time. My sense of directions out of bradenton/sara. lol.

Well Crap!!

I just re-read the e-mail. The memorial service is at 10:30 in the morning not 2:30!!!!:banghead::banghead:

I'm doing my best to be there folks but crap keeps gettin' in the way!!!!:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Just about finished washing the car and ready to roll :dancer01:
Be sure to stop by the Anti Venom Tent and visit with Tim, Bob & Rickey Joe

It was my first UCP show and enjoyed it...heard from some old timers that past shows have been bigger with more to offer...Peoples choice judging seems to have gone off pretty well...but with ZR-1s now showing up, it may be good idea in the future to put them and all Z06s together in one classification and split up C6s in to groups (05-06 & 07-present).
Good to see the Corvette Fla gang there as well.

Nice show, beautiful day, got to see old friends and make new ones. ZR1 looks pretty cool. As always Andy Pilgrim is a class act and very generous with his time.
I was somewhat surprised though that a C5 modified was counted as one of the winners in the C5-B class. I thought that vette should have in the modified class with its engine and custom paint, etc. It was somewhat of a slap in the face to the stock C5 folks but that is just my humble .02 worth.
It was great being parked next to Mr. Blue and seeing him win best of show. Glenn is a class act and a gentleman and it was a pleasure getting to know him and his wife today.
Thank you UCP gang for a very nice time.:thumbsup:
PS: I missed seeing the 10 foot trophy!!! :lmao:

Yeah, Connie and I had a GREAT time there. Got to talk with a bunch of people and saw a lot of great cars. All in all a really good time, EXCEPT for one major fly in the ointment.......

THERE WAS NO FREE ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was the MAJOR reason we do this show. Now we are crushed and disillusioned..........
(Not really, Jim, but Connie is probably never going to let you forget about it.......... :hehehe: )

But if Tommy will knock off 50 percent on a new Z06, all will be forgiven.

Thor...you da man... There were a few cars there today that i personally thought were "misclassified". With a big show like that, an all Corvette Show, I think there should be some seasoned judges.

UCP

HEY:
I WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE THAT ATTENDED THE ULTIMATE CORVETTE PARTY THIS YEAR FROM MYSELF AND THE TAMPABAY VETTES.

WE HAD 384 CORVETTES, NOT COUNTING THE ONES IN THE VENDOR AREAS, WHICH WAS ANOTHER 20.

WOULD TO LIKE TO THANK "MRS. RICH" FOR THE "KILLER BEE" TOYS SHE BROUGHT DOWN TO ME......BUT I FAILED HER NOT HAVING ANY ICE CREAM FOR HER :banghead:, I AM SORRY!!!

DUE TO THE ECONOMY WE HAD TO CUT A FEW CORNERS AND THAT SHOWED IN THE "MICKEY MOUSE" SOUND SYSTEM WE RENTED.

I SOLD (3) THREE SETS OF EXHAUST SYSTEMS AT THE SHOW :dancer01: THAT WILL HELP FOR FUTURE MODS TO THE "KILLER ZEE".

I TRIED TO MEET EVERY ONE FROM THE FORUM AND I KNOW I MISSED A FEW.

IF ANY OF YOU CAN POST SOME PICTURES THAT WOULD BE GREAT. I SAW RICH ALL DAY SHOOTING STUFF AND I HOPE WHEN HE HAS TIME, HE CAN POST.

AGAIN GANG, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF TBV.

:hehehe: JIM :hehehe:

Had a great time .Always enjoy meeting new folks and shootin the sh!t with old farts like Rob :lmao:.I did not stick around for the endin, figure i did not have a change in hell of winning with all those sweeet vettes there.I was glad that Elvis left the building:hurray::lmao:

Posting the "post office" , most wanted views !!

Great time at the UCP...nice to see all of you again. Even Shadow made it!

It was great to see the new ZR1's as well...having 3 of them to drool over! That makes 4 I've seen in a weeks' time (Black, VR, VY, and Cyber Grey)! :dancer01:

Then again...one never tires of seeing a 67BB!!:yesnod:

:banghead::banghead::banghead:Again I had to miss the UCP for our local show here in Melbourne.
The Space Coast Corvette Club held their 6th Annual Vettes on the Avenue Show. We had 114 Corvettes lining the shaded streets of downtown Melbourne.
One of these years our dates will separate and i will be able to attend both.
Will be nice to see old friends and 400 Corvettes would be neat too :hehehe:
