C5 Vert weather stripping issue

I have an odd request.

Does anyone have a picture of how the door glass "crushes" for lack of a better word the weather stripping on the vert top?

After todays rain, my car leaks like an old battleship but it looks to be sealed alright. Not sure where its getting in at but it drips on me and the passenger side.

I need to see if mine is installed right.

Thanks!

If you can't get it taken care of Junkie and I will probibly be in the area the first weekend of March (7th about).Thiers some talk about a BBQ .

A leaky vert sucks.

Chris, where the top meets the windshield is where the two weather stripping ends meet. There is a small lip of rubber that the top part sets into. All it is, is a flap about 1/4 inch. Make sure that it is not folded up between the two ends. Use some di-electric grease/silicone lube to condition where the two meet and all the weather stripping could use a thin coating. I have found that is a leak spot and usually easily fixed.

Good luck,
Joe B.

Thanks for the posts.

Yea i got a new black top i'm going to have installed. Might have them redo the weather stripping at the same time. Or i might redo it before then myself...
