Count me in
Great! There should be some from our club, too. I'll have my black/black coupe and the husband will have the dark bowling green vert. My tag is "THANX GM" and his is "WAVE BYE". Hope to meet you and 9T8vette

I am coming from Naples with my friend Keith and his new for him 69 Z28. Anyone want to meet somewhere for the ride up?

The Weather Channel is showing that nasty wet stuff for Saturday morning and afternoon. Dosen't that make the Corvettes melt?

Looks like your right, we've got a cold front moving through.

The weather in the last hour has changed dramatically...

It's not looking encouraging...

:iagree: this isn't lOOkin to gOOd

Yeh, it's a bit discouraging :ack2: At this point we're still planning to meet some of the club members at 0730 in Cape Coral to drive to the show together. Guess we'll see what the morning brings :shrug01:

Maybe this will all blow over by morning. I have been checking the radar and the closer it gets to the coast the more it seems to disperse. I am being optomistic:yesnod:

I like your optimism!! Keep it up

Oh well I'm going to meet a few clubbies in the morning to wonder over. Better bring a full can of rain repellent for the car, she gets emotional when she gets wet! :D

Must be the same line of storms that went through here this afternoon and evening. We got a LOT of rain from it. Will have to wipe down the vette tomorrow because the rain blew in under the carport. And I think standing water was up to the rims as well.

Hope you guys have it break up and go around you.

Have fun at the show.....

Well, it's raining here in Lehigh. Spoke to some folks in Cape Coral. It's in between showers there. They're gonna call us if it looks like it's clearing there later this am and then we'll head out. Hopefully, it's not a wash-out :nonod: I don't see a rain date listed on the flyer

It is raining buckets here. Looks like it is slowing down with less lightning. Sort of figuires, car show in the Cape, swamp buggy parade in Naples, bike show and parade in Ft. Myers. All those would just draw rain to this area.

THIS SUCKS

Well, they have not cancelled the show. Cars are there and after this line of showers goes through I'm planning to take a ride over there, too. Hopefully, we'll get a break for the rest of the day. :shrug01:

Well I spent most of yesterday and all of last night prepping for the show. At around midnight is when the first crack of thunder hit. MAN did it ever come down. I'll bet we had wind gusts close to 50 mph and couldn't even begin to guess how much rain. My yard was flooded at daybreak.

So now if I could just transfer the show up to my garage I'd be all set...

Sun is now starting to shine and doppler says the rain is gone.

So this afternoon should be good....

I wish it wasn't so far for me....
