Vette Driver killed.... anyone we know??

Check this out:

Tuesday, his neighbor says she became worried and tried to file a missing persons report, but says deputies told her to hire a private investigator.

...must be the "budget cuts?":rolleyes::toetap05:

I doubt anything they would have done at tha point would have made a difference in the eventual outcome of the matter, but whatever happened to "to serve and protect"?

I've had some very recent "interactions" with the Sheriff of bubbaville down there and from a professional perspective, they need a huge change in command:thumbsdown:

Anyway, just venting! Attitudes like that piss me off!:mad:

R.I.P. to the deceased driver.

Yeah, I'd bet on it too. I found out VERY QUICKLY, that there are situations I'm not qualified to drive my Vette in, and I try like heck to stay out of those situations. Oh sure, my gut tells me that I'm a qualified race car driver, but the "sane" part of my brain says "bu!!$hit! I try to listen to that part of my brain all the time, because it knows better than my gut. I'm in no hurry to be lookin at the root side of the grass, so I tend to "behave myself" when having fun in the Vette. Too bad things like this have to happen. It probably was very preventable. Take it easy out there, people! I really don't want to see the name (or names) of anybody I know from this forum in an article like that :nonod:.

From what I understand driver took on a S curve at a high rate of speed and was able to maneuver throught first half at which time he then lost it ....
