Well. What can I say! The Vettes at the Beach Corvette Car Show held on 13 September 2014 at Pensacola Beach, Pensacola, Florida was a huge success! We had 23 Car Clubs represented at our Show from as far away as Minnesota. We had 231 Corvettes that covered most of the Pensacola Beach Parking Lot.
Although the clouds were threatening and we had to rush to end the Show 30 Minutes early, the weather held out and no one got rained on.
We gave out Top 30 Trophies and if you were here last year and saw the trophies we gave out, these were bigger and better than last year. We had only one entrant for the Valve Cover Races, so, guess who got First Place? Next year, due to the lack of participation, we will cancel our Valve Cover Races. Sorry Valve Cover Racers.
We would also like to thank our many Sponsors for the help in making this Show a success: Pete Moore Chevrolet, Leo’s Automotive and many, many others. Thanks.
A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to all of the Guys and Gals and, of course, your cars for attending and hope that you enjoyed the Show and the Venues surrounding Pensacola Beach. We actually fed over 100 people at the Friday Night Dinner held at our host hotel, The Hilton on Pensacola Beach.
We are already making plans for next year. If you missed the Show this year, please make plans to attend next year. We hope to make this Show bigger and better each year but we cannot do this without your help. So, make your plans to “COME ON DOWN” to the Premier Corvette Car Show on the Gulf Coast.
