IF I was that guys age that would be me. Its ridiculous how crappy this country has become. If the technology was around back then during the tea party he refers to, that would be the ideal time...when citizens were not afraid to stand up to a greedy and idiotic government party...I dont understand why people vote for our representative who have ZERO common sense. Im sure we all remember the bail out crap...now look were our money has gone, where we said it would. Lining the pocket of greedy ceos who destroyed a company...every job I worked for, if the business made no money you got no bonus. AIG loses 65m in one quarter and people are getting up to 6 million dollar bonus checks, and to think some top writers, financial advisers keep saying its to keep the bright minds aboard the company. When do bright minds lose 65 million in 4mths time?

Long rant, but this bothers me a lot. Most people my age dont give a crap, but its destroying my future, like the guy said. Giving illegals money from the people who've been contributing for a lifetime to not be so broke when they retire. Its almost tempting to finish my degree then go move to a country were it isnt broken.

What do you mean "if I were this guys age that would be me"??? Are you old enough to vote??? Are you old enough to die for your country??? Do you pay taxes??? If your answer is YES to any of the above, this applies to you!! We all better listen carefully and sign up now before the country is ruined....:yesnod:

"Sitting back and saying it'll work out, those guys in Washington are smart, just wait it'll be ok, isn't working".

I am now taking what I had once consisered my retirement fund to pay for my youngest sons education because his education fund is history and the cost are soaring. I can see my future, driving my Vette to Publix, "paper or plastic".

I've become more politically aware and vocal in the last 6 months than ever before in my 63 year life. (silent conservative majority) Bill Nelson and Vern Buchannan are my pen pals. I'm not proud it's taken me this long to get involved in my country's future. :nonod:

My post signifying that's exactly how I think. I've beenpaying my taxes since I was 15. I vote but it seems worthless, it seem the majority of the votes that win the stupid laws and regulations are from the same voters who put Obama in office, the same guy who said let's give these dying companies money to come back only to piss it away allllllll over again. If a normal tax payer gets aid from the government an misused funds the government will be knocking on your door for a full refund plus interest. Why don't they do that to these companies, hell why didn't they research the companies who owe back taxes.

I wanted to serve my country but with the way they run things now with piss poor management maybe the accident was a good thing. The day something happens to this country like the u.s. Becoming the next Iraq I will definitely defend this country.

In it's current state I would have to say this country is already ruined.

I'll ask for the day off .Just let me know I'll be right there with ya and if things get bad I'll be 10 feet in back of ya .(no sense us both dying ):thumbsup:


But I do predict that people will form in the streets before the years out.
 
The problem is that this does nothing to solve the problem, only action, a march, letters and etc will work. The need exceeds the wants, an leader who can get the people to respond and show all the we are sick and tire of paying out for all things, but remember, that personal leader could become a dictator.
 
I agree with most of what was said. If I heard him right with mandated military/social service, I say no. But I agree with the buy a gun part.
