I was attacked when I was his age with the about same damage. Ive had nightmares all of my life, It made my parents not do well financially and was hell on everyone, I can only imagine it is the same for this boy.
 
have the dogs been taken care of yet? I still cant see why people have these imbred animals,Isnt there a first bite law in florida?The owners should be put down, Sorry I'm just pissed that this keeps happening.Let me know what I can do to help
 
The sheriffs put the dog down asap. I was watching the news this morning and saw this. It made me flashback,

The owners of the dog that got me refused to put him down, I was victim number 8 and the worst. So my dad took care of him, He just watched his little girl flat line a few times and wasn't right in the head at that moment they say.

Count me in for whatever help you need towards carshow, donations, etc.
My grandson is still terrified of dogs, and luckily never has had to go through what this child has and will forever.

Just remember that it's the owners not the dogs. The dogs are being taught how to behave by the owners. Just watch any Cesar Milan show "Dog Whisperer" on any night of the week and you will see what competent and caring ownership will do for ANY breed of dog. While I am not personally an owner of any pit bulls or such breeds there is proof that the breed is not bad, just the owners.

Take the scumbag Michael Vick for example. He had Bad Newz Kennelz, and fought the aggressive breeds. They have seized the dogs and rehabilitated them with intelligent owners and they are giant pussy cats now. I have seen articles and shows about the very same dogs that were removed. This alone proves that it's the people not the dogs themselves. I own two small dogs who's breeds are known to be yappers or snip at people yet my two dogs have never fallen into this stereotype. It's all in rules boundaries and limitations set on the dogs.

It's the responsibility of the owners to control the dogs especially when they get out of the yard like in this case.
 
My attacker was a ridgeback Curr. that was starved and beaten, It wasent his fault, he was hungry and I was small enough to fit into his mouth
Ive not had a problem with a pit (my brother breeds them) Dobie or a Rottie..

It is the owner, Thats the truth..

But if these parents need help I have my clan of young F-Body misfits and a wonderful band ready to go.
 
WoW!!! This really tore me up!! I have a son that's the same age, I cant imagine what that family is going through. I will definatly pray for them. If you need anything else on our end please send me a pm.

Got home tonight and this has me really upset!! I feel so bad for them!! Wish there was more I could do. I would love to send my dogs over to that guys house so he knows what it feels like.. I'm sure he could teach those pit bulls a thing or two.

My mother took me from the bed, Gauze on my head still, and made me go pet a big ol rottweiler. I would still be in fear if it wasn't for her making me do that.

Yeah this dog is chopped, i think the first one is too...

I saw both if these on snopes.com


But would be cool if they were really that big!!!!

I would love a mastiff or great dane , both my dream dogs !!!!
 
I find it odd that there is no verification for this, no newspaper articles or police reports mentioned, or where this allegedly took place.
