• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

Where Is Everyone??

Still here on the Spacecoast. :dancer01:

Retired April 30th and trying to adjust to the new lifestyle. I think I'll make it.

My "05", which had sat for the most part covered in the garage, now takes turns with my "06" Silverado as a daily driver. Good for it and good for me! :yesnod:

I enjoy this forum and usually look in a few times a week.

Do you know when the next one is? If so lets get a group together.

Jeff Carlton aka Sub-Zero is the other guy I was thinking of.

I believe that Cars & Coffee St. Pete is always on the 3rd Saturday of the month.

That would make the next one July 16.

They send out e-mail announcements and I'm on their distribution list so I can confirm after I receive their next e-mail announcement.

Cool! Thanks Lloyd keep me posted, I am interested in going. FYI I will be at the Wiregrass Mall the weekend before on the 9th from 3-8PM. They have dropped the entry fee to o to get more attendence.

Another lurker. I've been "showed out" for some time now and have left the club we were members of. Just drive the vette daily and enjoy the ride. It's nice not to worry if it's cleaner than the other vettes on the road :)
I like to check in here every week or so to see what's happening with the group.

Hey Linda,

It's been way too long since we got together. We have the grand kids until late in August, but after that maybe we can get back together for our lunches. Hope all is well with you and Robert.

I guess no one has anything to talk about here? I figured everyone is just getting bored and irritated about hearing my own problems with my C5Z, so I have to dredge up other stuff now and again just to try to spark some interest in SOMETHING here.

Have fun with those grandkids. The end of the summer sounds good. We'd like to do the lunches again. Talk to you soon. Hi to Joyce

Hey Rich.....I guess lots has happened since I was here last. Sorry about your C5Z. Have missed the posts but I'll get caught up here shortly.

Still here. I post a couple of times when I have something to say, but check in everyday.

Hey Lloyd,
We need to do a Wesley Chapel cruise to cars and coffee. I have been meaning to go but that is early for a Saturday since I am working again.

You, me, and Riceman, I know there was another guy in Wesley Chapel but could not remember his screen name?

3-4 vettes heading down I-275

I received the e-mail invitation today.

Cars & Coffee at the DuPont Registry, 3051 Tech Drive, St. Petersburg.

Sat. July 16, 7-9 AM

They fill up fast so if we are going we will have to "LEAVE" the meeting place at 6 AM.

Lots of us still here, yet at any given time there is an average of 3-5 posts...go figure

No shows, cruises, poker runs, meets, club activities, etc....

I still average 100 miles per weekend with my vette...no doing me any good sitting in the garage...

Well, we haven't had either Connie's C6 or our C6Z06 out in over a month now.

I guess with the fiasco with my C5Z the flame of my interest is sputtering....

The flames may sputter but don't let them die.
I bought by first vette in 1992 after my husband bought his and I wanted to drive one myself. I did the whole "corvette thing". Did the NCCC shows and won some, local wash and shine shows, went on the caravans to the museum in 1994, 1999, 2003 and 2009 and may do the 2013. I drove the Tail of the Dragon, Atlanta Motor Speedway, Daytona and Sebring tracks. Andy Pilgram drove my '92 with me as the passenger at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Those are all happy memories and I have lots of pictures to look at but now I'm driving my vette daily, no shows or events and I'm just enjoying the drive. It's comfortable, reliable and fun to drive even in everyday traffic. This silver vette is my 3rd and I'm enjoying the drive everyday. I'm glad I decided to drive instead of show.

That is cool. I wish I could drive mine everyday. I work outdoors so I need a truck to get around on the project. I drove the Z16 this morning to the St. Pete Cars and Coffee.
