Oh yeah, my ole 96 is now upto the times. Just upgraded the factory deck with an all new Apline Digital Media Receiver. That's right kiddies, no CD player, just digital music at it's finest (no CDs sliding around any more). :dancer01: Connects via iPod and thumb drive. With my current setup, I have approximately 10+ hours of music at my disposal. Time for a road trip...oh wait, I've got to get the rest of the interior back together first. :banghead:

I kept the stock bose speakers for I like the sound and the price tag ($0). Well, so long as none of those amps go out. I got the deck and all accessories from Crutchfield. I even got a harness to plug right into the stock wiring for $20 with the purchase of the deck. Still have to figure out what all these darn buttons due, but so far is a blast to play with and listen too. :dancer01: Sound quality has certainly risen way up. :thumbsup:

Cool:thumbsup: Do you have the HD tuner with that 1.It took me several months to get my hands on the Alpine HD tuner for my Alpine Digital Media player.Have not install mine yet, also there is USB connection for other Accessories.:thumbsup:

Nah, haven't gotten the HD tuner yet, but will down the road. Can't justify the extra $200 right now. I used the USB to connect my thumb drive too (you can see it in the bottom photo). I keep a folder for music on the thumb drive for on the fly or if I leave my ipod at home. I can't wait to go home for lunch and try to button up the interior...and of course listen to the new sound the car produces on the way. :thumbsup:

I really wanted to get the full color display alpine, but I must say, this one turned out to be just right.
