The TT is bad a$$$.
For the price I would get another motorcycle, but if you've got the cash then TT all the way.
TwistedFun said:in case you want a motorcycle i have a beautiful ducati 916 i will sell you. lol
TwistedFun said:get the turbos, you can always sell the lg's. i might even be interested in buying them from you.
Rich Z said:Sorry, but I just can't see doing that. I'm not looking for any more power then my stock lower end can handle, so a s/c should likely do fine in that department. Plus I paid someone to put on those headers and will certainly have to pay someone to take them off. Hell, I had those pipes ALL Jet Hot coated too, which wasn't cheap.
So I would have to say that whatever I get has to be compatible with my current exhaust system as a minimum criteria.
Besides, I definitely don't want to have to explain to the wife WHY those expensive headers I bought are now being taken off to add something that will make even less sense to her, as adding even MORE power....... :toetap05: THAT, my friend, would be one hell of a tough sell.....
TwistedFun said::shrug01: my dont we have some back peddling to do. lol congrats i think. i really hope this thing works for you very well. i am looking to do a H/C set up later on next year. i think a set of afr heads with one of the lg cams will get me right where i want to be. i am looking for the 430 to 450 rwhp range as a goal.
Rich Z said:Well....... I did it. I just pulled the trigger on the STS twin turbo kit.![]()
Now I just have to get it installed when it shows up.
I'll tell you though, you guys are absolutely no use whatsoever for talking a guy OUT of stuff like this..... :toetap05:

Rich Z said:Well that could very well be, but so far, the feedback I have gotten from people who actually HAVE the STS systems has been 100 percent positive. I have had several people comment negatively on the THEORY behind the system, but none of them actually have tried it themselves prior to forming their opinions. Sometimes the proof just has to be in the pudding, I guess.
And in my opinion, it is not HEAT that moves the turbine, it is AIR PRESSURE that moves it. 100 cubic feet per minute of cold air is the same as 100 cubic feet per minute of hot air. It is just that in all applications I can think of heat is used simply to CREATE the air pressure needed to move the turbine.
I posted a thread in this forum about turbochargers that I found on Wikipedia. Makes for interesting reading. Of course, nothing is perfect, and as I found out, every single one of the power adders I looked at had drawbacks and compromises to deal with. And in my unbiased and uneducated opinion, this was the best system for me, based on what compromises I was willing to live with.

Suicide King said:I just wish I had anyone. (TT , supercharger, blower, or what every) :shrug01:
It is better to have any one of these systems then to not have one at all. :yesnod:
You’re going to be a very happy man.![]()
