Alley Cats is the name of a place in Brandon I took mine too. Good work. It happens to be near the FL State Fairgrounds on 301/I-4 area

Just had my windows tinted on my 04 z51 this weekend, at National Window film dist. INC. They do super work, they have tinted 5 of my cars in the last two years.

There are in Port Richey FL.

I'm in NPR, where exactly are they? Do they do the rear in 1 peice, or multiple?

Tell em Charles sent ya, just say i am the guy that has had 1 millions cars and trucks in the last year.

They are on Ridge Road , about a mile east of US19 on the north side.

yeah, a friend owns a store 2 doors down from him, and my usual range is right next door. Depending on how long it takes I might pack my range boxes and punch some paper while I wait

Do you have any pics of your car with the tint? He said he uses a darker on the hatch and a ligher on the windows, and I want to make sure there wont be TOO much of a contrast between them.

I dont have any pics, but you can come by my house this weekend and take a look. PM me or e mail me at CHASLX200@AOL.COM.

I was thinking about trying out a 22, cal High standard at that gun range, i have never fired the High Standard, had it for about 3 years now.

Just called, nice guy, I've got an apointment for the 25th

well I just got back from my dis-apointment.

I got there at 9 AM like I was supposed to, no one was there.

I waited about 40 minutes and still no one, so I thought I'd try to call in case it was cell # or they had an answeing service etc. Called... got an answering machine that said they are closed from Thursday and all weekend....

Why did they give me an apointment for a day they wouldn't be there? :banghead:

Guess they forgot about the holiday, thats not very good of them!

He should knock some off the price to make up for poor customer service. At least 1/4 to 1/2 off. I know the tint's a little expensive, but most of the price is labor, not supplies.

has anyone had the entire back window including over the dots done? I was told the tint will not stick on the dotted area? :shrug01:

Welcome to the site.

You need to find a good shop that knows what they are doing. There are a lot of different ways to deal with the dot matrix.

When I bought my Vette my windows were already tinted. I plan on getting them redone at some point. I don't like the way the dot matrix looks either. Check out http://www.tintdude.com/dot-matrix.html to see how some people deal with this issue. It's a forum for people that install tint for a living.

Hope this helps.

OH I almost forgot!

I have an appt for this Saturday now. Whoever wrote down my appointment before wrote it down for the 18th. The day I told them I could NOT come cause of the UVP.

They are giving me a small discount, no where near 1/4 to 1/2, but the price was good in the first place so I'm not gonna bitch.

I'll let you know how it goes

Just got home....yeah, I'm happy. Those guys were great! very VERY thorough, and did some awesome work.

They get my stamp of approval

Glad it all worked out...

for ya there Rich.

Question for anyone: I had my windows tinted a while back, and since then have noticed the interior door panels have a white discoloration now. Almost like fading. Maybe due to stuff they used? Maybe it dripped etc.? Can it be returned to normal (black) with some product out there other than paint.

thats weird! The stuff the use to apply the tint is supposed to be plain water.

Try goo-gone, I've heard that the orange oils in it can bring black plastics back awesome, but I'd give it a shot in an inconspicuous spot first.
