As most Forum Members know I have had some airbrush work done on the Halo of my C5.
I'm looking for some honest opinions, so I set up a poll and please vote only once. Poll will be up for 5 days.

THANKS

I enjoy half naked stripper as much as the next guy, i just think it doesn't fit on a car especially a vette, maybe a beat up work truck! I would change that one out for maybe a set of C5 crossed flags with a USA flag instead of the checked OEM inlay.

just my opinion...

Rick, I love it. It makes your Vette yours. It is not too much and it's not overboard.

My vote is yes for it's awesome.

Kinda with Ken on this one. It's your car and you're the one who has to A) Like it and B) Deal with the comments from the outsiders that don't.

I understand where Chris is coming from, but I'm a big believer in the constitution and freedom of expression.

Another Yes here:thumbsup:

:iagree:

Your car looks fine dude, who cares what anyone else thinks. Maybe when they start making the payments or buying your gas or paying your insurance, then their opinion may count, 'till then...

Heck, if we all ran our lives based on what someone else thought about it, do you really think we would be driving cars that can easily exceed 140mph?

It's your life. Live it.

I understand the yes's and the no's point of view, and am a firm supporter on free speech. But, honestly, how do you explain that to your 8 year old son when he sees it?

Since my wife and I are practicing naturists, we would just tell him that the nice lady is probably shy, that's why she's wearing a thong :yesnod:

By saying "that's what a blond is supposed to look like" my bad, bad Ken, bad Ken, go to your room and you can't play with your Corvette for a day:lmao::lmao:

In reference to what would you tell your 8 year old

Keep it!!!

I think a Corvette is a personal thing and an extension of one self.

I really don't think you need our opinion.

If you like it, thats all that matters.

Alot of Corvette owners I have met make opinions without being asked on my "Zee", which has stock Gun Metal original wheels. I like the wheels and everyone says I need Chrome. I am getting sick of all this Chrome on Corvettes and all the after market Trash they are selling. The wheels stay on the "Zee"....

You keep your paint the way it is and polish it every night!!!

Best

I know what you're saying and it's a concern that the OP has (we discussed this today).

But kids are eventually going to be "exposed" anyway. I'd rather it be around a group like this where we're all friends and no pedophiles, and just explain to him that it's art not porn.

I personally believe that we do more damage to our kids at times by trying to hide things like this and make them "dirty" rather than showing them (if they see them?) the artistic value and beauty.

But thats just me and I'm probably not the best role model...just ask my wife:rofl1:

Hey Rick,

I have been to a few shows since I relocated to Florida and have seen a lot of Vettes that have been modified, ...well over modified, to the point that they are much more offensive to me than the minor artwork that you have on the halo. But that said, I don't think it makes any difference what any of us think about the way you have personalized your Vette. It is only important what you think.

Personally, I think the artwork is outstanding and would leave it.
