• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

Wassup!!!
It's me again!
Angel took her Vette into the dealer down the road to have them look at the engine warning light issue. The code that popped up was for the forced air induction something or other. (it's in another thread).
Anyway.. Come to find out, when the:bigear: that hooked up the K&N air filter, they disconected and bypassed some of the emissions stuff, which is the reason for the engine light and code:banghead: . They said they could clear the code, but it'll return sometime in the near future. Which is true, because I've done that already.
So, they're reattatching the emissions stuff and things are going to be honky dory, for roughly $300.00.

~Ray:banghead:

installing the system, not changing the filters.

:wavey: When the :bigear: (previous owner) installed the K&N air filter.. they (he or she or the mechanic they used) disconnected the emission stuff. I Dunno why  .
Angel says the car feels/drives better now that it's hooked up right.:shrug01:
She's definitely glad to have her baby back home again!:dancer01:

:shrug01: We did the K&N and left everything hooked up as the general wanted it. Pricey fix but glad it's running better!!

Ya know Ray, I've been reading a lot of posts from you lately where you're shelling out $$ for all sorts of things that need fixed or whatever.....flooded house, kids ticket, wife's vette, the list goes on........no wonder you had to start this rant section :D It's gonna be good therapy for all of us. :yesnod:

:D  It's been a test....but it looks like Kap is having it pretty rough also! Poor guy!:nonod:
