Delorean Guy
Hey Im new here. I found this Forum not too long ago when I did a Search on google. This is a nice site, so thank you to whomever created it. :yesnod:
Anyways, currently I own a Delorean and Im a member of the Delorean Club of Florida, but it is my weekend car. So, not too long ago, I noticed alot of C4's for sale at the Zephyrhills Auction and a few that went through the auction. Then I started remembering that theres been a about a dozen C4's Ive seen EVERYTIME I go to this auction. Many of them in good condition and even one 1990 convertible once that had only several thousand miles on it along with plastic covers still on the seats. I like the C4 and C5 body style and I made up my mind that I wanted a daily driver that wasnt too expensive. So later this year Ill be looking for a 1989 or 1990 with the 6-Speed transmission (I like the bumpers on those rather than the newer bumpers on the '91-96). Im going to try my hardest to find one in good condition for a decent price. My dad's a Chevy guy as well, he used to own a yellow '66 Corvette he bought in 1970 and he regrets selling it, and he now owns a '65 Chevelle Malibu SS with 44,000 original miles (which is for sale by the way). Anyhow, this whole Corvette thing looks like fun, so hopefully Ill see you all around sometime......

Yes my Delorean was in the Lake Mirror Classic with some of my club members from our Florida Club, my tag reads FUTR CAR. Im also going to the Celebration Exotic Car Show on April 18-20th in Celebration, FL which is right before Old Town off of 192 in Kissimee. We had a record turn out of 19 Deloreans last year so it should be interesting. Its a good show with lots of exotics and even a few Vettes most likely ZO6's or older ones like C1's- C3's. The money is for charity and theres always a good turn out. I think the website is Celebrationexotics.com but im not sure. A friend of my dad's just built a '73 vette, painted yellow and all he's got left is the interior, it looks great. Anyways, thanx for the warm welcome everyone!! :wavey:

P.S.:hehehe: Ive already got a catalog from Mid America Motor Works that I look at and several other parts distributors like Corvette Central and Corvette America. Any other parts companies out there I should know about?

:welcome:from the bald guy:lmao:

Another C4 person....woohoo:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I've seen your car at Setzers I think it was and some other shows. I remember the tag. The Delorean is cool:thumbsup:

This is the best place on the net for local gatherings, information and to get some help when you need it:thumbsup:

you'll find people here are always ready to lend a hand be it helping you look for or at a potential ride, or fixing and modifying it:thumbsup:

Welcome aboard and good luck with your search. Let us know if you need some help?
