As I spend the next week in Key Largo. I'm talkin Buffet music, Margaritas, fires on the beach and livin life large. By darlin Carrie by my side. Anyone want to head down for a couple of days?:thumbsup::)

Keys

Never stayed in Key Largo but always wave when I pass thru on my way to Key West! Where are you staying? Our club had a "cruise" to Key West in April. We drove to Ft. Myers and took the boat. Now that's the way to get to Key West! Anyway, have a great time! I love living in Florida!! :dancer01:

We took the boat as well when we went down to Key West for our anniversary in January:thumbsup:

Being a former Coastie, I really enjoyed the ride:dancer01: Spent most of my time on the fantail watching the wake...:thumbsup:

Next time I think I'll try to the twin engine charter flight out of Clearwater. Looks like fun too. 1000-1500' agl (or sea lever, depending on location and weather). What a view:thumbsup::dancer01:

Hey Ken,

When you leaving and how long are you staying? Are you taking your C3?

We have around twenty Vettes (couples) from Corvettes of Naples headed to Islamorada on Friday for a long weekend. I don't know whether there is an opportunity to get together, but it would be nice. Haven't seen you since the NCRS meet in Orlando.

The current plans are for Joyce and I to take the '01 vert, in case the weather is good and we can drop the top while we are in the Keys.

Let me know if you want to try to hook up for a drink somewhere.

Hey Rich, We're going down Sat morning and we'll stay through next Sun. No the C3 stays in the garage. I'm taking my dive gear as well as the regular stuff so the vette just wont do. Besides my 10 qt Margarita blender won't fit in Goldie anyway.:lmao::lmao:

We have a relative who owns a conch shack on the bay in Key Largo. It's a little ole 2 bedroom house built in the early 50's but it sits on Florida Bay and has A/C. It's only used occasionally by family so it's just perfect for a get away.

BTW it great to hear from you. Long time no see.

Just wanted to let you know that Joyce and I had a good time at lunch with you guys at Coconuts (?). Although the weather was crappy, the company was great! Plus we enjoyed the entertainment put on by Carrie. Not sure what you did to her but she aimed that drink right at ya! Hopefully will see you guys again soon.

It was a wonderful trip and lunch at Coconuts was great. Super company and a free "lap drink" supplied by Carrie. Gave having a Mojoto a whole new meaning.

Even the weather had no negative effect on my day. Hope it didn't yours either.

The only problem with the weather was every speck of road dirt from Largo to Key West wound up on the '01 convertible. Man did that baby need a good cleaning when we got home.

The next time we get together I will remember that Carrie is very expressive with her left hand and will sit either in front of her, like at Coconuts, or on her right! Although it might have been interesting to see just how bad Carrie would have blushed if I was sitting to her immediate left at the restaurant?! :lmao:
