I agree with palmbeachvette76. It seems very clear that you must have a very special loving caring wife who has supported you in this quest so far. I am sure she has given you encouragement when you needed it. The real winner's here are the two of you who have endured the results of a less than professional build and the required clean up of previous shoddy work. So my hats off to the two of you.
Man, that is the absolute truth. Even when I wanted nothing more than to just blow that car to bits, Connie was the one telling me everything will be OK. Most wives would have been all in favor of getting rid of the car and the drain on the finances but she just wouldn't let me do that. She was the one saying that we just have to pay whatever it takes to finish it. Hell, this last stint alone having the engine pulled and the piston replaced cost us another $2K. She didn't even bat an eye when I told her what to expect on the credit card statement this month.
I can say with absolute certainty that marrying that girl was the best thing that I have ever done in my life.
