A science question

For you aspiring astronomers and astrophysicists. The earths circumference is approx. 24,000 miles. It takes 24 hours for the earth to complete 1 revolution, meaning we are rotating at 1000 mph. If you fly in an airplane at 1000 mph going in the direction of the earths rotation, are you in fact traveling at 2000 mph? Conversely, if you fly an airplane in the opposite direction at 1000 mph, are you in fact going 0 mph?

Also, do plain M&M's taste better than peanut M&M's?

OK, here it is. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?:D
OR................:shrug01: What would a chair look like:hmm: if your knees bent the other way:thinkin: ?

Well, what I want to know is just where the heck does your lap go to when you stand up? :toetap05:

If you take the sq. root of a triangle divided by the circumference of an apple times the number of people that are foolish enough to read this and the answer will be 7. :D I think. :lmao:

Are Michael and LaToya Jackson really the same person?:shrug01:

Almost. They are the product of a failed secret government experiment in cloning..........

But...if you convert it to the metric system and drop a few zeros it should come out to apx 6.999999 and 3/4 to be exact. :D :lmao: Of course,I may be completely wrong because the number of people foolish enough to read this is a variable.....:dancer01:

Dang, again I forgot about the metric system. :sillyme:
That was the same reason I failed advanced trig when I was in the 3rd grade. :lmao:

Speed is relative to two reference points. So a 1000 mph going one way is equivalent to a 1000mph the other way irregardless of the earth's speed and rotation. That is unless my ex-wife shows up and then I will do 2000mph to make up the difference and avoid the heat.:lmao:
PS: Peanut M&M are ok. Plain ones taste better to me. At least i answered your question!:dancer01:

Wow, I didn't mean to create a monster. For those with better ways to pass the time, I apologize. This is a heck of a way to run up your post totals.:(
