Very heavy rain and thunderstorms and not much wind .We we're at the beach 4 miles away and no rain but dark dark clouds light wind and people we're walking the beach .restaurants we're open .

Surprisingly we haven't been over run by easterners

There is another disturbance off Africa which has some potential .

Just a bit breezy here, but that is about it. I'm not expecting much rain out of it. Might be a wayward band or two come through, but probably short duration and not much in the way of rain that will amount to anything.

But I would take that any day rather than a full blown cat 5 hurricane knocking on the door.

Actually been rather dry here for the past 5 or 6 days. I might actually have to think about watering the citrus trees.

Looks like Dorian might be trying to get it's act together again. Seems to have strengthened a bit and either got larger or closer to the Florida east coast. Probably not a good time to plan on a day at the beach on the Atlantic side of the state.
