Got a call from today from MacMulkin Chevy that our C6 was being loaded on the truck and will be on the way to me. It is expected to get here on Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on other stops the driver needs to make along the way. :dancer01:

Congratulations Rich and Connie. Be careful that C6 don't eat you alive, Rich. You'll never hear the end of it.............. Tom

Yeah, I'm wondering if she is going to want mods put on it, or try to KEEP me from putting mods on........... :hehehe:

Interesting thing happened today, though. I mentioned that maybe in a few years I would possibly like to (finances willing) get a brand new Z06 and go through the NCM delivery. Actually Connie seemed OK with this idea, and asked what I would do with the current C5 Z06 we have. I said I would likely get rid of it and she looked in shock. She told me flat out that she wanted me to NEVER get rid of that car, for any reason.

Dayummm... Do ya think I picked a 100% BONAFIDE WINNER for a wife?

Man, I can't see how we could do that. When the new C6 comes in, we will then have four vehicles already. The yearly insurance bill is going to be substantial. And heck, we don't really drive that much. Matter of fact we get notices from the insurance company all the time wanting the mileage off of the vehicles since I guess they think we are lying about how little mileage we put on the vehicles each year.

When I had the Jeep Wrangler that I sold recently, a while back I happened to glance on the console and saw one of those Jiffy Lube notices noting the mileage for when the next oil change was due. Looked like I still had over 1,000 miles to go. But it was dated two years ago........... :) The employees would make note of anytime that it moved since they got so used to seeing it in one spot.....

Connie has her Silverado Z71, which she will NEVER give up. We also have a Chevy Astro van, which we use for the reptile shows, and now proves usefull as a mobile storage shed. We took out the back seats, so it comes in handy if we have to do some major shopping at Sam's Club.

The carport only fits two vehicles underneath it, so two have to sleep under the stars.

Ah well.... If I could just get Connie to get comfortable driving a stick shift, that certainly would solve a lot of problems...... :shrug01:

Glad to see that I am not the only one with a small car lot :)
