For my friends here in Corvetteflorida, here's some pictures of my and my brother Chris Robarge's Eagle Corvette GTP serial #02.
This chassis had sat in Nashville area in the corner of Baker-Curb race shop
since 1990. In rough shape and needless to say desperate need of restoration.
Since about a year ago Chris and I have devoted ourselves to the restoration of this GTP. About the only thing of real difference has been the engine swap from the sb chevy to the use of the new LS Chevy engine for reliability in racing.
the 40 car was orginally to replace the Lola 40 chassis of past for Baker racingw/ GM pulling out of the Lola Corvette GTP program, and Hendrick motorsports losing interest, all chassis came to an end. The car became ols school with the interest shifting to SPICE WORKS and later the Intrepids.
So, here is our restoration completed and ready now for shipping here to Florida for HSR, SVRA, and NASA racing. No she'll not be a garage queen any longer.
Enjoy
