Eckler's 29th Reunion

Chart is coming together. I know there is more out there. I will post this list before heading to Orlando and have copies at space G2. Let's make it easy to find each other. Either post you space here or send me a PM.
Visitor parking may be an issue, but the parking for the 200 entranst has all been planned and arranged. All classes are grouped together and each car within it's class has an assigned parking space.
Classes will be parked on the street sides on the main stretch approaching the resturants as well as the street sides along the perimeter of the waterfront area.
The Old Town show last year was pretty nice, though there were some issues arose. Old Town dropped the ball on reserving areas for the show cars to be parked, thus the over flow in adjacent areas. Second the dust and wind didn't meld well together.
Ah, by that if you are referring to what was coined as "the parking lot" don't be suprised if future reunions will be right back at home in T-ville. Eckler's has been moving their offices back into their former showroom (aka the big glass building). One nice thing about having the reunions there? Space. Lots of it. Notice last year (as well as this year) the reunions lack the corrals, "for sale areas", tech seminars and other traditional reunion features....
Would you be suprised if Ralph said he has no idea? Afterall, Ralph hasn't been involved with the company in over a decade...
Seriously though, they knew where they were going to park the show cars. But I think they were waiting for the cutoff (the 200 entries) to assign which classes would be parked where. Afterall everyone will have an assigned parking area (or space). If you go in Friday you will be parked and already be parked for Saturday. If you arrive Saturday you will be directed to your parking spot.
Also Eckler's has been moving offcies back into their former showroom. While I don't think it contributed to the registration packet delay (registration only closed 2 weeks ago) it may have thrown in another wrench for the reunion planners.

Just got are package,parking space I 10,where ever that may be:shrug01:,Still debating on staying the night there,will let you all know,Be nice to see Ray And Angel there,wont be the same with out them.

I'm well aware that Ralph, his brother Bobby, Rich Kramer and the nearly entire lot of orginal Ecklers Corvette are no longer with Eckler's present day.
Was only joking in earlier post.
But, again, thanks for your up dated post on the Reunion.
From what I've read in the last few post, the area for the show cars should be a very nice setting around the shop's there in Celebration. also as I'd mentioned in earlier post about the Celebration Hotel, all the shops are located just in front of this same hotel, as well as the lake front there.
Parking lot's are found directly behind these shop's.
I'm well aware that Ralph, his brother Bobby, Rich Kramer and the nearly entire lot of orginal Ecklers Corvette are no longer with Eckler's present day.

Would like to know WHO from east coast, and those going
to the reunion from Orlando area, are going on either Friday or Saturday.
Thinking maybe we could meet up and Caravan over together.

Called Eckler's yesterday to purchase a few parts. My intent was to have them bring them to the show as they have done in the past. Somewhat to my disapointment I was told they are not doing that this year. However they did advise that they were doing the 10% off and free shipping as always.
Oh well I guess that's just big business, I guess.

Just reserved a room for that sat night at the Royal Celabration Inn,Cant wait to see you all.Was planning to stay that sat. night,then have a nice breakfast on Sunday and then maybe visit some places for a few hours and then head home.

I recall when I bumped into Ralph several years back at a gas station. He was wearing an Eckler's reunion shirt, but I won't mention on this forum what kind of vehicle he was driving :ack2: I didn't give him any crap about it, but did say hi and talk to him for a bit.
