Glock Home Protection......

Wow! Way cool!! But us poor private citizens will never be allowed to own one.

Speaking of really cool guns I will never be allowed to own.....

Woah! 25.4 mm is 1 inch, so THAT has to be ONE LARGE hole in the barrel ! And 2000 meters???? What's with that????? I'm lucky if I can still see anything at 100 meters, nevermind over a mile away. Nice looking weapon (rifle?, cannon?, something else?) though..........
Andy :wavey:

Ive got a beta mag for my AR, and it can add some weight. Unless your handgun is full auto I wouldnt bother with one, just stock up on extra mags heh. I think most glock models have a 30 or 33 round hicap mag.

That XM109 is nifty as hell. Doesnt the new XM107 .50 reach just over 2 miles, or is it just under? Be sweet as hell to pick something/one off at 2 miles haha.

Beta C mags are great. One of the few magazines around that you can fill to the limit and just LEAVE them that way without degrading spring tension. I should pick up a couple more of them before they get "scarce"....

I wish I bought a couple more when I got mine for 235 bucks. Lately theyve been around 400 or more.

Edit: Hmmm I see the prices have dropped, might be the time to buy 1 or 2 more haha. Not only effective at holding ammo, but people at the range think your the sh!t when you pop on of them on an start unloading.

I've seen the Beta-C mags for around $260. Check out RPB Industries in Georgia.

Why is there such a shortage of ammo? I want to buy Winchester 40 S&W but can't find any. I was going to buy Wolf ammo but was told by a friend that it is very dirty.
Cheaper than Dirt has a long list of "out of stock".

I talked to my son this morning about this issue (he is a federal leo). He said that they are also experiencing shortage of ammo. He was told that it has to do with the war in the middle east. Both he and I don't believe it. We have been at war for six years. Why all of a sudden have this problem.

I seriously doubt they use very much 22 long rifle ammunition over there..... Not to mention .357 mag, 45 long colt, 44 magnum, etc.....

I believe some backdoor gun control is being implemented by choking off the ammo supply. Fortunately I stocked up LONG ago. Plus I've got more reloading stuff then you could shake a stick at. Matter of fact, I've been meaning to put a sign on the outside door to the building where all my ammo is stored. It will say..

IN CASE OF FIRE, RUN!!!!

Yeah this ammo shortage is crap. The people on gunbroker also need to die in a fire. I usually go to ammunitiontogo or ammoman for my 223 stuff. I was looking at AK ammo on ammoman and a case of 1k was like 129-180 shipped, but everything was completely sold out. So I go to gunbroker same ammo 350-400 bucks...and my .223 ammo tipping over 500 a case.

I have to invest in a reload machine soon and just start buying reloading essentials. I look at my stash and think its to low then I remember an ammo can just full of loaded mags haha.

machine guns?

You can own a MG.
You need a class 3 FFL. Not hard to get, if you are not a felon.
There is a tax and paper work, but not a problem.

You dont need a FFL, thats only if youre going into the business of selling/transferring. Class 3 FFLs can handle the transfer of an automatic weapon.

To own a any sort of full auto weapon or sound suppressors, you need a NFA stamp per item. So 200 bucks to the government plus I think its 4-6mths right now for approval(My CCW license even paying for express approval took longer then regular approval rate). I wanted to get a silencer for my AR but the amount of money and time Id waste to lower the dB, I spent my money on ammo.

The worst part is you being on paper having one. So say the government decides to "TRY" and attempt the right to bear arms(which will never happen)...the government would be knocking on your door first.

Oh and that XM109 will never be allowed in civilian hands even if you bought 10 stamps for it. 25mm payload is very destructive when its extremely portable.

As for that new bill good luck. Ill go through all that crap and at the end of the day when they leave, Ill just reload the mags and keep it handy. Maybe they should make gun owners with children invest in a gun safe, so little bobby doesnt pull the handgun out of daddys night drawer then take it school and go crazy. Kids with guns dont kill people, parents with guns who dont care for their children are what kill people. Politicians always look at the bad 10% of people who use guns, not the 90% who know the common sense of ownership/usage. Yet theres a lot of the 90% who still put these morons into office.
