• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

Hello from Bradenton updated with pics

I am proud to say that for the first time in my life I am a vette owner. With the help of Rich Z off the corvetteforums, he helped me make my decision on a Lemans Blue and Cashmere interior c6 auto this weekend, my previous car was a Yukon Denali and I have always wanted to own a vette since I was young. I am currently 32 and we have a little one and plan for one later this year and my wife being as nice as she is said if you want to have fun go for it while you can!

I look forward to talking with you guys on this board and hopefully meeting a few of you at some future Corvette Shows, hopefully there is one soon.

:welcome: Welcome, and it's good to have you on the forum! Rich is a great guy, a real Corvette enthusiast. You've purchased a great car and found a great board here. Life is good. Have fun, post pictures of your new ride, and and get ready for the time of your life...........Tom :)

Hey! :welcome: aboard! Which one did you decide to pick up? New or used?

Rich I went with the used lemans blue from Miami, the car is in real good shape the only imperfections on it where some wheel scrub on the frront right tire and that spoiler wasnt really an issue at all other than that the paint and interior is great and the glass top is really trick.

I will post pics soon, I cleaned it up over the weekend but since then it has rained, but she is still shiny pics will be up soon.

Thanks again Rick for your input.

Here are a couple of pics I took with my phone, one outside of my office just a minute ago, and the other is my little one,

He already has the fever, and keep his fingerprints off it!

Hi Neighbor. I see we live in the same town. Welcome to th forum, There are quite a few awesome guys really devoted to the almighty corvette. I've been picking brains since I joined last month. I am picking up my vert at the NCM this friday. When we get back into town after Christmas, perhaps we can connect. I love the Lemans Blue and the Monterrey Red. Since I already have a Blue Expedition, I went with the MR-Cashmere combo. Enjoy the RIDE and MErry Christmas. Mark :welcome: :welcome: :crazy03: :crazy03: :wavey:

Howdy neighbor! Well, almost, we live just North of the Skyway and pass through Bradenton often when cruising, or going to that nice drag strip you have down there.

There is a club in your area, Skyway Corvette Club. It's also not too bad of a drive for you up to the Tampa Bay Vettes runs and meetings, which take place near the intersection of I-75 and US-60.

There is a Corvette Challenge Drag Race series at Bradenton that some of us will be participating in over the course of the next year. You're welcome to join in or watch. No previous experience required. :)

Check the Forum Calendar for upcoming events. There are runs out of the I-75/US-60 location planned for January 14th and 28th.

Also, I'm trying to find some folks who would be interested in a drive on New Year's Day. If that might be you, please reply at this thread.

:welcome:

Wow...

 Nice Car and Cute kid as well!:yesnod:
Where do ya find the time?
Edit: Poor kid, now all momma is going to hear is...where's daddy?

thanks for all the welcomes, I will look and see if I can make the bridges run or possibly a new years day run. As far as making time for my little one I do my best to see him in the morning before I leave for the office work and I am always home on time to put him to bed and watch his favorite show Smokey and the Bandit! (just kidding)

Also I need to get down to Largo and pick up some Adam's waxes and polishes and clean this baby up over the holidays right now I have put on a coat of Liquid glass polish which I used to use as a kid. I here that Adams is easier to apply than Zaino according to some of your other posts.

:welcome: :welcome: Everybody has already said all the right things! So, I'll second them!! You'll like it here. Nice folks :yesnod:
