Henderson Park Inn at Destin.

Connie and I drove out to Destin a couple of weekends ago to find and take a look at a bed and breakfast she had read about in one of her magazines. I was pretty impressed, because I thought it would be among all the high rise condos that litter the beach from these days. But this place is pretty amazing in that it is right next to the Henderson State Park, so you have a few miles of beach area with nothing but sand and water.

We haven't stayed there yet, so no inside pics, but I'm certain we are going to TAKE time to do so as soon as we can.

Oh yeah, I took my video camera (of course!) and took some footage of the outside of the place and the beach front. We really like the looks of this place...

WOW! That looks like one LARGE bed and breakfast place! From the video it looks like a GREAT place to stay.

Hell I live here and never knew it was there as many times as I have been to Henderson State Park. I'll have to take a cruz and check it out. The video looked great. Can't beat our white sand beaches when all the tourist are gone, (like know)!!!

Connie an I have been talking about staying a couple of mights there, but for some reason all the cards just don't seem to fall together for that to happen. I can't believe it is mid December already......... :eek:

Well, that has to be a "maybe"... Spring time is breeding time for the critters, so I have to play match maker. This season only comes around once a year, so there's no second chance if I miss it. Best I can say is that we'll have to play it by ear.

Heck I might take Connie out there next month. Our anniversary is on the 8th of January, so maybe we'll try to get away for a couple of days. We're also talking about maybe going back to Fernandina Beach for a couple of days. Just been too much going on to try to nail down anything positive, though. I'm thinking about legally changing my middle name to "subject to change without notice"...... :rolleyes:

Well, Connie and I will be celebrating our 31rst wedding anniversary on Thursday (01/08) so we are planning on staying at the Henderson Inn Thursday and Friday night. Anyone in the area wanting to visit with us, please look us up.
 
We'll be leaving the area sometime mid Saturday, so if anyone wants to meet up that day, please do so.
