Most of you guys know I have had TROUBLE for the past couple of months, Finally got a new one, and it has VISTA. It came messed up and I have a little adventure getting it going..lol A fellow poster can chime in on my joy of obtaining action from the dead vista tower when it finally started working,

Im loading my software on it now, I have worked on a webpage of in photoshop sucsessfully in 2 months, that has killed me

Good to have you back again. I have Vista too but not the problems you're having. So far I like the way it operates.
 
compaq just didnt have it installed all the way, I had to figure out how to get in there and give it a little push start, Greg hates it on his laptop, I dont mind it so much, like everything its just going to take some getting use to
 
Also, If Mr. Rich reads this. I hope my mail isnt bouncing back, Im trying to get it straight right now! let me know if it is

Im at home on the worlds oldest laptop with a crappy connection, I will have to check in the morning...lol I just knoticed I wasent getting my cf alerts like I use to, maybe it is in my control panel didnt think about checking that
 
good luck with vista we bought a new computer for the office and I hate it.I love my xp and am stickin with it for the shop as for my personal I love my mac i love it i love it 2 years virus and worm free:dancer01::dancer01::dancer01:
 
I wanted a mac at this point, and wanted to run linux again I was so fustrated! But I didnt want him to penny in so I got the best I could buy on my own. I was ready to upgrade it to XP this morning:rofl1:

I may have your beat. My puter is going on 8 years with original Windows 98 and dial up to boot @ 26 bps. which takes alot of pedal power:D
