I've known Richie for over 10 years, and his brother longer than that.

Richie has worked with me for over 10 years and has been one of the best/closest friends I've ever had.

This morning, I don't know when, but this morning, near the intersection of Armenia and Azeele, he was broadsided, ejected from his vehicle and apparently died on impact after his truck rolled over him:(

Richie was a Rough Rider, loved kids, held his family and friends close and was dedicated to the Rough Riders and thier causes.

When I needed someone served that was becoming a problem...Richie was the one I turned to. He was like a pitbull...once he got after you, there was no stopping him! He was one of those "go to" guys. When something needed to be done, he got it done!!

One of the most dependable and loyal people I've ever known and I'm proud to have been able to call him a friend:thumbsup:

To my friends here...please wear your seatbelts

R.I.P. Richie Pazos
You will be missed my friend:(

Gordon, sorry to hear about this. Things like this make the world feel just a little bit colder..........

Very sorry to here the news...even harder is that he may have survived w/a seatbelt. A loss of a close friend is like loosing family. Our thoughts are w/you.

As for seatbelts, I can't imagine anyone ever not wearing them....even to drive across the street. Buckle up all.

Sorry for your lose, please inform the family that they will be in our prayers.
Your friend was lucky to have known you for that long, you are a great person and I'm sure he is looking down at you and thinking about all the great times you two had.Sorry to hear this sad news, our prayers are with you also.

Sorry for your loss Shadow. My best goes out to his family and friends. Life is so short. We need to make the best out of everyday.

Going over to see his family today. I've known his brother for over 20+years. Not sure how he's going to get through this...they were tight!

I'll check in with you guys later, and thanks again. Please keep Richies family (brother, sister-in-law and 2 nephews) in your prayers:(

Gordon

Such a senseless loss and how the heck do you deal with the void of his loss?Every day is precious and yet for the most part taken for granted. Thank you Gordon for sharing. His family will be in our prayers.

I don't know yet Mark...I haven't been able to figure that out yet. I've dealt with death and destruction over the years, yet I suck at it when it's close friends, family and small children!

I just got back home from his brothers house and man! That was rough:(

I agree, every day truly is precious.

He's left a hell of a legacy in this community:thumbsup:
Native cuban expatriated to the US, naturalized and just a high school education...but loved and respected by everyone he met and had wisdom far beyond most highly educated types I've met over the years.

All I can say is Richie, I'm gonna miss ya bro:( Your laughter, your attitude, your ethics, your fun loving spirit. As many have said, he lit up any room he entered:icon_cheers:

Thanks for keeping his family in your thoughts and prayers:thumbsup:

Please, please, please, tell your loved one's you love them, hug your kids/grandkids and above all, please keep yourselves safe my friends...
