Ken, I received a catalog a while back from Long Island Corvette Supply, 1-800-466-5427. They supply parts for older Vettes, give them a call.Kap142 said:A supplier of the stainless steel trim for the front and sides of my T-tops. Paragon as well as others have the side trim pieces but I am, at this point, unable to locate the leading edge SS trim for my 72 coupe.
My hot leads available out there?

From my experience some of the stainless pieces are really hard to come by. I know that Joe recommended that you try Long Island Corvette, and these guys are great to deal with but unless they have expanded their business, they are primarily a mid year supplier. But it can't hurt to make a call.
You also might want to see if you can have your current pieces re-worked. I seem to remember someone asking about getting their stainless buffed out. Most guys that work with stainless can do wonders. Even take out an old ding or two. Then fine sand and polish. Since my '69 is a Vert, I am not familiar with how easy it is to find what you are looking for. It just might be easier to find someone to rework yours than to find replacements.
I wish I was more help to you.
Good luck!
Rich
Try "Space Coast Plating" in Titusville Fl. Terry may be able to repair them for you!!! He's worked Wonders on some bumpers for me in the past, and I know that the last time I talked with him he was talking about starting doing allot of other things Like Chrome plated Plastic Dash pieces and repair and Refinishing Aluminum and Stainless!! Tell'm that Jesse form Frontier Motors in Old Fort,NC sent you!! :thumbsup:Kap142 said:Hey Rich, thanks for the input. My SS is still nicely bright but if you look closely at it it looks like it was taped on every couple of inches with a mallet. It has a mildly corrugated look up close. I'm not sure that can be reworked but it may come to that. I haven't exhausted my search as yet and I do know that Corvette salvage yards do exist so we shall see.
