• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

Life is better blown

It's an ACME-BLOWER

I didn't have any current pictures on my website so I had to go outside this afternoon and take a few. Car is dirty, driveway is ugly, but here are a couple:

I will be at Old Town Saturday, haven't figured out how to find friends from the four forums I frequent.

That's a lot of alliteration, if I say so myself.

Thanks all.

I've been out in the garage all night fiberglassing. I hate fiberglass. Well, I hate sanding fiberglass and I hate paper cuts from sharp fiberglass edges. I wish I could find someone here in Orlando to finish this custom dash gauge pod I am making. I've been to all the local car audio shops, the last quoting me $2000. My arms are starting to feel like a jellyfish sting again. I hope it's not as bad as last night.

Well I hope you aren't breathing that crap. Bad news in your lungs........

:ack2:

I've been seriously thinking about selling the Maggie and getting a Kenne Bell. My friend has been interested in getting a supercharger for her '05 Mustange GT and I did a some research on the twin screw (whipple/kenne bell) vs eaton/roots. I am wondering how to find a prospective buyer and what a fair price would be.

The Kenne-Bell will likely require yet another hood for you. It sits higher than the MagnaCharger.

Like it or not, once you bolted on the MagnaCharger, it's considered USED, which means it has to be priced low enough below a new unit to attract a buyer. Nine times out of ten, if the price margin is too close, people will spring for new over used.

The Kenne-Bell sounds like a real nice unit, though..... Hard to say whether or not it would be worth doing a swap at this point.
