Will do Rich and sorry you and the lovely Connie aren't going to make it. We'll miss you guys
I understand the work thing. I'm just saying f'it! and walking away from mine!! Fed up for the week. The fortunate part is, although it does multiply, it doesn't breed and doesn't need me to to it
I'm going to plan something later in the summer if possible either at my place or on one of the coastal areas.
So as Paul Harvey used tosay..."Stand by for news!"

Summer? Man, it doesn't let up on us till late September. There is a short breathing space between the time the breeding takes place and the eggs start being laid. Then another short breather between egg laying and when all those critters start hatching out. Between mid June and the mid August I will be having between 3,000 and 6,000 babies hatching out needing to be cared for. That's when I REALLY get busy. Just to give you an idea of what I mean, if I have just 3,000 babies to take care of and want to feed them every 7 days (5 is actually better), how many do I need to take care of every day? Let's suppose I can really whip through them only spending 1 minute for each of them. So what are we looking at timewise? That is every single day roughly 425+ babies need to be cleaned and fed... On top of everything else going on... Which is why I want to sell this business before it kills Connie and myself. Based on the chest pains I get every year at that time, my guess is I'm living on borrowed time as it is.
No, I'm not expecting you guys to work around my schedule for these get togethers, just explaining in advance about why if the timing isn't just right, it won't be possible for us to attend. Late Summer? Forgetaboutit...... :nonod:
