Good morning fellow Corvette lovers and addicts! lol

Now, I hope everyone understands as car lovers in general, that sometimes it is just time to move on and go in another direction or just for something new...

I said good-bye to the NastyZO6 over the weekend/Saturday.

I had been thinking for a while that it was time for a change and decided to do it.

I picked up a 2010 GT500. The car is basically brand new. Modded as well. I am very happy with how everything turned out.

In closing, I will still be visiting here, just not as often, and I have enjoyed my time as a Corvette owner and really cherish all of the friends and friendships that I have made by being on this forum! First class people here for sure.

Yeah man, I understand. Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.

I hope life treats you well......

Sharp looking car, by the way......

As nice as the 500 is; there would be no way in Hades i could trade a ZO6 for it especially if it looked like yours!

Good luck with the new car. I jumped out of my vette for a 2011 GT500....kept it for 6mths then offloaded it. 550hp was nice, but Ford still hasnt grasped the fact of putting big wheels on cars making that kind of power.

Great looking new ride...dont blame you one bit...I am currently looking at motorcycling myself...The depreciation is what is holding me back from dumping my ride...

I stumbled upon this 2008 head to head comparison between the C6 Z06 and the Shelby GT500KR...

Interesting. Every metric that was used for comparison the Z06 beat the Mustang, including price tag, except that the Mustang has 35 more HP, but the Z06 beats on a power to weight ratio and is NA where the Mustang needs FI to do it.
