Nasty storm here in Tampa

It looks like midnight here right now, its just black, it came from bright sunshine, the lightening is nasty too,

I was fixing to go home too
 
weather here in FLA doesn't surprise me anymore...:nonod: i have seen it rain on one side of the street and not on the other :rofl1: it's totally crazy here!!

drive safe going home in this mess!! I will be out there my self in an hour or so..:dancer01: :rolleyes: :ack2:
 
:rofl1: Ive seen that a few times and though I was nuts. Last time greg confrmed it was in fact raining next door and sunny at our house

We got a brief but heavy rainfall here below Tallahassee a couple of hours ago. Heard some thunder north of us but no lightning visible.

Captured an animation so you can see the storms that just covered the Tampa area....

No wonder it got so dark outside. The entire area was covered in thick storm clouds....
 
I drove right smack into that thing today! Saw it coming but nothing I could do about it.

Was in the vette...it leaks...end of story....
 
Ouch sucks to have been you Gordon.

All hell broke lose up here on Fletcher, and lightning struck a tree by the EPC off Telecom right before my eyes. Pretty spectatular fireworks display by mother nature. But we need the rain though.

Yeah, we certainly needed the rain:thumbsup: That fireworks demo soudns sweet. Don't know how close I'd want to be though:eek: :rofl1:

It was certainly a bad few minutes though.

Rachelle, I know what you mean, but on the good days (and there are many more of them in Florida than bad) it's all worth it:thumbsup:

I'm near Orlando and it just hit here - its ok -the vette is in the garage and we REALLY need the rain !
