Rain today

Heck, we have had practically nothing here for a week. Just a few sprinkles that don't even register on the weather station.

We are under a flood watch here, but so far the rains have been spinning off all around us. 0.01" so far today, so it's not like I need to build an ark or anything. :)

Went to Dothan, Alabama this morning and hit spotty, light showers. Just enough to smear the Love Bugs on the windshield.....:banghead::banghead:

Looks like most of the rain right now is under you in the Gulf Rich.

Looks like we are in for quite a bit of rain today. Got 2.54" so far with more on the way.

If this clears up and the road is passable, I am guessing I am in good enough shape after the heart attack and having that artery in my right arm penetrated to insert the stents that I could take the vette out for a ride sometime. The four weeks have passed since the last meeting with my cardiologist when he told me to take it easy for that length of time yet. Hope I remember how to drive it....

It's been pretty dry here the past few days. Should stay that way for this upcoming week.

Yeah, it was lingering when we came north on 75 Thursday afternoon. Seems the front came apart when it got around central Florida.

No rain here for the past three weeks. Nothing since 09-09-2022. :(

Rain for September, 2022 = 3.82"

Total rain for 2022 so far = 66.27

I am not seeing any rain in the forecast for at least the next two weeks.

I may have lost most of my venus flytraps. Too much been going on and I haven't checked on them until today. Crispy critters.....

Yeah, we usually run into some showers coming back up from Orlando/Lakeland but nothing today. Saw evidence of flooding along the roads (Lee Vista Blvd) in Orlando and spoke with some of the folks we deliver to and they said it wasn't too bad other than the flooding in their area. The Florida Turnpike was shut down due to water in the road as well as local roadways. But I've seen a lot of pictures and videos of the Ft Myers area that is totally devastated.
