Rain today

Already seeing fall colors in the midwestern states, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa. Already got snowed on in Wyoming about a week and a half ago. Temps in the 40's at night. California is largely on fire with the smoke everywhere, even into Nevada. Not much rain though, at least not like it was four weeks ago when we went back out on the road. Glad to be home, not moving for a week. Don't miss this humidity though. But it looks like a cold front coming through about Tuesday, maybe Wednesday.

Rained all day today, but only amounted to 1.58".

Mosquitoes are on the rise again, too.

Pretty much drizzled here all day long today. Only accumulated 0.13" but made it feel like you were living under water.

Been going through a bit of a dry spell, but overnight we got 1.96" of rain.

At least the mosquitoes seemed to be tapering off quite a bit.

Had a storm front come through today that gave us 1.47" of rain. Had 0.34" several days ago. It appears we will have Sunday and Monday relatively clear, but with moderate chances of rain beginning on Tuesday.

Beyond a pretty good storm out in the Atlantic, nothing seems to be brewing in the Gulf to give us a hurricane. Hopefully that threat is over with for the season.

The citrus are beginning to ripen up, so hopefully the rain will plump the fruits up a bit. Actually the season for us seems to be better than I thought it would be earlier in the year.

We got 0.99" of rain today. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. Uh, well, BOTH of you people who still post here now and again, I guess. :dead:

We got 0.37" more rain today, although it sure sounded like more when it was coming down.

Nothing here. If it were not the tropical storm it would have been almost 10 weeks since i had a drop. Worst year ever and the hottest by far. This Nov will be the hottest ever.

Yesterday and overnight we got 0.62" more rain.

Going to be dry the next few days with much cooler temps. Lows around freezing tonight and Tuesday night.
