What will this cam do for my 06 a6 with no mods? I'm looking for lowend power.

Call & talk to JP or Kyle and they will get you what you can expect. With the A6 they will recomend a different grind than the MN6. 813-628-0080

is there a cam that falls within this package deals spec that will give good power NA and FI down the road?

I am eventually going to FI, working on a blower setup as we speak....but i digress.

I just don't want to do any mods that will hender my future performance goals...if that makes sense??

Also, i decide to get a cam done, can you guys pin the crank at the same time?

Any options for roller rockers, shop provided or customer provided?

Sorry for all the questions...:D

Yes, we generally go with a lower lift cam for FI so we can pick one that will work for both, but it won't be the most powerful NA to begin with. Yes to the pinning & yes to the rockers. We like Harland Sharp adjustables, but Comps, Yella terras & Cranes are also good.

Awww Mayunnnnn... I wanted to READ it!!!
I hate phones!

OK, all I can do is post other C6 results that we have done, a good indicator but not a guarantee since each of these cars are different despite being mass produced. I'll post soom tomorrow when I get back in the shop.

You really need CAI & headers for a cam to be worthwhile....and with a stock TC the resulta for lowend will be minimal. Probably better to save up for all the mosa at once than to do a cam w/out the rest.

If a lot of you are like me, there’s not 1800 dollars just sitting around doing nothing. The word budget is used every payday for a lot of us, which got me thinking, I can spare 400 dollars or so every month myself, but not 1800 dollars in one month. I could save the money in the bank but then something always seems to come up and the savings account gets depleted.

So, to close this deal out in the next couple of weeks, I have convinced the powers that be at RevXtreme to take four (4) payments to lock in this special pricing. Once you have made your fourth payment your cam will be installed. This guarantees you the price we have for this sale.

Obviously the word layaway comes to mind right away, but in reality you are locking in the price for this deal and you can take four months to pay on it. It’s all in how you want to look at it.

There are no charges or hidden fees. No interest charges either. Everything will be installed on your car after the last payment is made. Only need two or three months, that’s fine too.

Please understand that nothing gets installed until the entire sale package is paid for plus tax. But come December or January your car could be making some serious power.

I’m sure a lot of you would love to have a cam in your car and I hope this helps you get that done.

Don't wait too long to jump on this, as the sale will not be on for much longer, and once it's gone, it's gone for good.

C5/C6 .......................... four payments of $486.75 plus tax

Call JP our sales manager at (813) 628-0080 and tell him you want the 4 pay cam special right away to lock in your price before this spectacular deal ends. He can take your payment over the phone or we can send you a Paypal invoice. That way you can take your time and decide what cam is right for you and your vehicle.

We take Visa/MC, Paypal and checks.

Thank you

Brad

Anyone know if this (cam etc) will have an effect on my warranty?

Unfortunately it will void it completely. One of the small drawbacks to a warranty. Thats why I chose my 98 vert over a '04 Z06, that and the payments. But I'm much faster then any stock C5 Z now. :D

Hopefully in the very near future I will be running past the C6Z as well.

Take care

   ..Thanks for the reply Brad!

Generally speaking, a warranty will only be affected if the failure was directly caused by the modification. In other words, if you put in a camshaft and your A/C failed, the A/C would still have to be covered under the warranty. If, however, a valve spring retainer or a lifter failed, you would likely be SOL then.

A lot will be determined by the dealership and how flexible they are (or lack thereof). The definition of "direct cause" might be subject to some subjective interpretations.

But I believe that the thread of a lawsuit under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act may perk up their ears a bit if there is a valid dispute about coverage.

How much gaines for a C5 Z06? i will move to this when my house is done beening built.:dancer01:

Cam and no other mods, 30-40 hp. Add headers, cold air intake and a tune, maybe 55-65. You already have an excellent intake manifold. These are conservative estimates.

This current cam pricing promotion will end on 9-30-07, but you can lock in the price with four payments if that interests you.

Thanks for posting. HTH

hmm...let me think about it. very tempting. lol

You will definitely put down some good numbers, even more if you can swing a set of heads. My first time around I went with Texas Speed stage 1.5 heads and got good results for the money, got hem used for 900 dollars.

I like to under promise and over deliver, so we would need the car for three to four days. Many times however we are able to get it done in two days. Just depends on how many cars we have in front of you.

This package will put a serious grin on you face, a very noticable seat of the pants improvement.

As I offered to Ray in another post, I would be more then happy to let you take my vert for a spin to get an idea of where you could be and then go from there.

Hope that helps

Let me know if you need anything else

Brad
