[Someone did an awesome job putting this together and with sound to boot. At the very end of the video you'll hear the song ' Thunder Road ' sung by the star of the movie for which it was the theme! Not uncommon except this is the one and only song ever recorded, for publication, sung by Robert Mitchum! The Cars In The 50s & 60s

I had a 63 Impala SS as my first car.....wouldn't mind having that bad boy back....or my 69 Camaro, or the 71 Super Bee or the..........damn! DOn't even want to think about it any more!

Yeh..I think I saw a picture somewhere with Gordon sporting a ducktail haircut..:D I was not there for all of it, but was cruising around in a 57 ford before Uncle Sam came calling..only paid $249 for it :rolleyes:

I recall those days....

I'll be 55 in June...the memories of old cars, muscle cars, hot rods, Corvettes, drive-ins, the malt shops, diners, etc., are still strong and I'm gonna keep them and relive them as long as I can. People today haven't a clue how 'pure' and unobstructive those times were. When I was in my teens and coming into cars I saw the 'finish line' to most of what is considered nostalgic today. How sad we let those days get away.

To bad those days are just about gone for most of those venues! :shrug01:
