Staying in Tampa...

Wassup!!!
We may be looking at staying in Tampa for the weekend (Thursday-Sunday)of the 5 Bridge run, Depending on What there is to do in Tampa for tourists? We've been there before, but not for recreation (other than for the UCP).

We'd want to stay at a B&B (Any suggestions) .
Places of interest you've been to, that we might enjoy?
Local Vette hangouts or cruises for that time period?
We'll be looking Online also, but there is no better way to get this kind of information, than by word of mouth:thumbsup:

What area do you want to stay in? S. Tampa, N. Tampa???

Vette hangouts? Well, there's the Car show on Friday at Dairy Queen on Citrus Park Dr. Usually a good number of vettes there.

Also on Saturday afternoon from about 6-8pm, there's "the gathering" at Andreh's (Insty Lube & Tune). From there, we'll probably go elsewhere.

Theres a ton ofd stuff to do in Tampa and the surrounding area:thumbsup:

From beach bars to the Gulf beaches, Ybor at night, dining, dancing...you name it?

Whats your pleasure?

Maybe we could get some folks together for an evening (early) foray into Ybor? Good food and the "entertainment" is great:rofl1:

Angel has read up a bit on the Ybor and would really love to go! An evening out with some of you guys would be really cool!

I'm sure I can talk the wife into it. Also have a couple of buddies that own vettes that are in our F-body club that would probably be up for it as well.

Tampa does not really have alot of Bed and Breakfast Places.
I would suggest the Holiday In Express right in Ybor City.
Site also shows things to do...Saturday night you can meet up with us at "InstaLube", Dale Mabry and Erlich at 5:30 pm...Talk Trash etc., Last Saturday we had 15 Corvettes....:D

and feedback, but Unfortunately, we're UNABLE to do the weekend thing in Tampa after all.:nonod:

We will however, still be doing the Bridge run though.:thumbsup:
