Two C3's = no wave

Wave...RANT!

I saw this Red C5 Vette coming at me today so I :wavey: and the dude just looked at me . I swear it's the same :bigear: SOB, in the same red vette that Never returns my wave:banghead: . I'd like to see him somewhere and

ask if he's familiar with the :wavey:, or is it he's just got a Hollier (sp)than thou complex!:toetap05:

Sorry...have had this headache for several days now (due to braces on my teeth) and it won't go away.:nonod:

I was thinking the other day that we should make up CorvetteFlorida Failure To Wave citations. :hehehe:

You know, "the wave" is not exclusive to Corvette owners. I have a CJ Jeep and will get waves all day from other Jeep drivers, and they don't have a "save the wave" credo. I see motorcycles wave at each other all the time. I don't think a person necessarily has to be educated beyond receiving a few waves to figure out what's going on. Now, if a Corvette owner is not an enthusiast that may explain the phenomenon. They are just driving their "car" and frankly just don't give a sh!t about you or your wave. I say, F**k 'em:thumbsdown:

I love it!

I think in the 4 months now of owning my vette, of all the times i have passed another fellow vette i would say it has been disappointing. :shrug01: Some people just don't get it.

I wave at everybody, no matter what they are driving. I just hang my arm out the window and keep on waving :wavey: You wouldn't believe how many people with only one finger wave back !!!!:crazy03:

Larry,
Are you a greeter at Wal-Mart? :lmao: :lmao:

This looks like the wave you get back..... :NoNo:

I used to be a greeter at Wal-Mart but got fired for propositiong old women and telling little kids to shut up. :hehehe: I'm now a customer service rep for Dollar General :yesnod:

it's a part of the sports car/old car thing

Ya always wave at other vettes and cool old cars. Ya never know, one might have that elusive "cooler of beer" close by.

Seems to me happy folks, fun folks will gladly wave, the others, well I prefeer my :) smiley world. Too much seriousness out there without me adding to it.

JMO

I always try to wave. But must admit I miss a few here and there. Sometimes I just don't see them or it's just too late. For those that I missed.... this is for you :wavey: :wavey: :wavey:

Most wave back, others don't have a clue. What a shame that they live such a pathetic life that they can't return a friendly wave. Oh well, I'll wave anyways! :wavey: :wavey:

Well this actually is a good point. Not everyone is scanning oncoming traffic for other kindred vehicles. I know I am guilty of that myself, and will sometimes miss a vette here and there. I'm just looking at something else and don't see 'em coming....... :shrug01:

Actually those friendly folks are just giving you half of a peace sign! :hehehe:

I'll wave if I see a vette. I've been known to wave when I see a vette and I'm driving a non-vette :shrug01:

Actually I believe I get quite a few waves from not-vette drivers, but I probably miss most of them. Usually it is Connie telling me that someone waved at us while we are out driving. I guess I am mostly watching the scenery or the road.......... :shrug01:

I've had my C6 for about three months now and notice that more people don't wave than do wave. I always try to wave but I'm not always consistent. Plus, it's hard to get my wave up when I'm busy admiring the other 'Vette...

Wave, or don't wave... Getting peeved because your wave is not returned seems like rather poor form to me. I wave because I want to, not because I expect (or demand) to have my wave returned.

So, if you see me ('07 C6 Monterey Red Coupe) and I don't wave please don't take it personally. If you look in your mirror I'll probably be waving. I call it a delayed wave, because I am not always paying attention. :wavey:

I know,Not everyone shares my passion...

I guess I have the illusion:crazy9: that everyone that owns a Vette Relishes All Aspects of owning one. By this I mean... being a part of a brother/sisterhood and acknowledging it with a simple freindly :wavey: . Belonging to a "club" that not many will ever get a chance to and can only dream about:nonod: . Owning a Vette has been a dream come true for me, as i'm sure it was the dream for others before me, so I try to enjoy all that comes with it.
Waving isn't just a vette thing (as mentioned earlier), but there is an un written rule to extend the courtesy of a wave to other Vetters.:wavey:
Poor form  ... Yea, on his part! He's obviously too busy being a
F:2232censored:g prick to bring himself Down to my level (obviously "White Trash") and extend me some F:2232censored:g courtesy!

 Where's my medication....
