New heads. New intake. I would settle for nothing less. LME isn't going to be the one stranded if something lets go in YOUR car. Then it'll be tow it to Blountstown, tie up Chris' lift and people AGAIN, and footing the bill for at least some of the labor. OK, so you've been down that road already, and are currently still on it...........care for a repeat performance when something breaks in the future? Get it done right, right now, and it'll be good to go in the future. I would seriously talk to Chris and spell it out for him as to what exactly you will NOT put up with so that both of you are on the same page. Right now, he's your eyes and ears into LME, and the more he knows about your wants/wishes, the better choices he can make. I'm hoping for an easy solution like they sent you the wrong heads, or the wrong intake manifold and can get it straightened out quickly and easily. I think that you've put up with enough BS and shouldn't have to put up with any more. I would ask Chris to look at the intake to heads alignment with a video camera if possible when the engine comes back to make sure that there isn't any mis-match there. Maybe even have him tell LME to insure that they match up correctly before they send the motor back. I think that this might be a one time issure or else you would be reading about people calling them "Let's Make Errors", and voicing a lot of complaints. Seems like there must be a lot of satisfied people out there which makes me hope that there's going to be an easy and correct solution. Keep us updated................
