Ted Kennedy, he's a pisser alright, you forgot to mention Kerry, Barney Frank and Gary Studds. Out of those four three of 'em should be in jail, ones a murderer, one was acused of having sex with a 15 year old male page, and the other was running a male escort service out of his house. See now you can tell where my love of politicians comes from. I am a registered voter here in Florida, let me know when there is someone worth voting for, I mean after all the highest ranking politician in the state is named Jeb, whose next Luke and Daisy.
I believe the dog legislation has already passed in St. Petersberg, as far as driving in a ditch well sometimes you have to venture in there to avoid the maniac coming the other way passing a school bus.
I believe that living up North is better, more culture, museums, schools, less murders, way better food, nothing like going to the North End in the summer for the Italian Feast, or Seafood, grouper is nice but you could deep fry a shoe and it would taste good, and my God real Chinese food, where is Chinatown here ???. Theres nothing like a nice day in autumn, about 50 degrees, cool crisp air at Applecrest in New Hampshire picking your own pumpkin and apples. Cutting down your own Christmas tree in December, waking up on Christmas morning and there is about four feet of freshly fallen snow. Unlike here better wages, they don't pay like I've heard they do here, everyone I have talked to here bitches about the low pay, oh ya no income tax, thats a real benefit to the retiree's, they still get to pay all the other high taxes but they don't have to pay income tax on the pay they make working at that job they need to have to buy food and gas. Florida mentality reminds me of the guy who wins the lottery, all of the sudden he has millions to spend but doesn't know what to spend it on, just that he knows he has to spend it.
I'm not retired, maybe unemployed but I like to think of it as being exiled to a foreign land. :crazy03:
I have met some nice people here, some very nice people, like my friends Dennis and Vickie, wait there from St Louis, Ivo, oh ya he's from The Tri-State area, Bernie and Carole, wait from Maryland oh well I musta met a native Floridian somewhere along the line. Why did I move here, well to be honest I started to really hate the snow and cold and my wife wanted to go to Disney more than 10 days a year, so I bought season passes from Mickey for $660.00 and the first day I went to Disney I got stopped on I-4 and got a $185.00 speeding ticket. :lmao: But wait, I did my online traffic school and it didn't go on my record, what a joke that was. :rofl1:
Little did I realize though that there's no place like home, there's no place like home, theres no place like home. So I will click my Rubies together three times and hopefully I will wind up back home. Back home to my Red Sox and Fenway Pahk, The Bruins, Patriots and Celtics, Lexington Green for the annual reinactment of the Shot Heard Round the World, Santarpios for pizza, The Bay Tower Room for the best dining experience overlooking Boston Harbor from the 33rd floor, Fanuel Hall, The Boston Marathon, The North End for the best Italian food on earth, The Beanpot Tourney and Kowloon restaurent, the best damn Chinese Restaurent on the planet.
