Weather forecasts

I was over near Crestview yesterday on I-10 and the water on the side of the interstate was really high and moving fast. Lot of rain between Tallahassee and Pensacola.

Yeah, and doesn't look like it is going to end any time soon, neither.

Golly gee. Who would have ever figured that we'd be getting more rain today?

And raining again right now. Oh well, so much for running up to that cruise-in up at the Sonic near Lake Jackson this evening. :shrug01:

Time to drag out the ole Swamp Buggy again.......:rofl1:
Andy :wavey:
96 here yesterday with BRIGHT sun and HIGH humidity. Figured if I brought
out the plastic car, it would melt! :lmao:

Yeah, temperatures here have been pretty mild lately because of the cloud cover and rain. Heck, it is still raining now, so I'm sure the road is a mess. If this keep up, I might have to look into converting the vettes to 4-wheel drive. or at least put some major mud flaps on them.

Ah well, give me an excuse to stay inside and play with other stuff, I guess. I bought an arranger module to hook up to my Kurzweil synth and I've been having a ball with it. Helps when you are a crappy keyboard player to make up with it by overpowering it with technology. :hehehe:

Arghh. Been pretty crappy weather lately. Raining off and on for the past several days. Even if it's not raining right here, it's raining all around me, so I can't get the C5Z out. :(

Oh yeah, and today there were noticeably more skeeters around than we saw yesterday. So I'm guessing they are getting ready to bloom in earnest.

Raining again today. Guess I'm going to have to get out there and mow the mushrooms pretty soon.......

I guess people do eat mushrooms, but not me. You are what you eat, and I'm just not inclined to be a fungus. :hehehe:

Radar looks like we're going to get rain all day long today. Guess I need to go put the battery tender on the C5Z.

We are past our normal rainfall for the month of July so far in my area. I'm going offshore around 50 miles Sunday and hope to have some rain out there as that makes the grouper bite better.

Sheesh..... STILL raining here. And the mosquitoes are definitely taking advantage of it. So even if the rain stops, I'm sure we aren't going to be able to do much outside for a while.

Watch out for the newest mosquito threat. Asian Tiger Mosquitos. More aggressive and carry up to 30 diseases....kind of like a regular mosquito with stripes on meth.

Arghh.. There was this big bright shining light in the sky this morning that I didn't know what it was. I thought it was a UFO, so to try to stop the impending invasion, I shot at it.

Too late I realized it was the sun. I had forgotten what it looked like.

And now it is raining again.

Guess I shouldn't had aughta shot the sun.

Well it's no wonder the weather people can't get forecasts accurate. The data they are working with isn't accurate.

For instance I just got back from taking the blue Z out to do some more tuning data logging and I headed up north to take 267 out to the west. I ran the rpms up in 3rd gear to get some data in that range and the roads are pretty wide open in that area so I could stretch it's legs a bit. Anyway, on the way back, it was raining pretty good at the intersection of 319 and my road. So I had to wipe down the car before water spots could set in. Now I checked the weather radar before leaving and there was NOTHING showing. And to make matters worse, according to that same radar map, the rain I just went through never happened.

Well, like everyone else, I guess they'll blame it all on global warming, saying they need more money to buy "climate change" resistant instrumentation.
