Scott, sorry, forgot all about this. I'll have to check through and see what lenses I would want to part with that I haven't used for a long while. Most were bought using a 35mm camera, and those have worked well with my Fuji digital bodies I have had over the years.
Rich, I was curious what Nikon lenses you have? Were they for a film or digital camera? Does that even matter?
I've been shooting a Nikon D300 for about 2 1/2 years now and I just bought the new Nikon D7000 which is 16mp and shoots 1080p HD video. I haven't played around with it much but I am definitely going to purchase an external mic for the video. I'd definitely be interested in your lenses. Which ones do you have?

Plan on getting down to Sebring for the race?
Yeah photography is a lot of fun and can cause you to look at the world in completely different ways. Honestly I've gotten more into video lately and gotten away from still photos. Motion adds an even greater amount of depth into what you are capturing, and then you can either capture the ambient sound layer or add your own to provide even more depth. The quality that you can get out of a hand held device that doesn't cost an arm and a leg is astounding.

BTW, what camera body are you shooting with? If your using Nikon, I may decide to get rid of some of my lenses down the road if you are interested.

Good luck with getting the C6Z! It's an astonishing car.

Hope you are doing well.
Thanks Rich. It's been awhile, how are you and Connie doing? Hope you're doing well. I'm definitely loving the garage. I might be looking at at C6Z06 in my garage either later this year or early next. Can't wait. I've been focusing most of my time on photography. I remember having a conversation with you a couple years ago about SLR's and lenses and I knew nothing. Now I own two of them and 7 or 8 lenses!
Scott, my best guess would be a banded water snake. But there are other subspecies of the water snakes that can look pretty similar. But I would say a common water snake, regardless.
John, sorry but no, I don't do that sort of thing. I used to offer web hosting and get a bit involved in client's websites, but dropped that all a while back. Right now I am recently retired, and not really looking at this time to get involved in something that would then become "work" to me. But thanks for asking.
Hey Rich, John Robarge, (Spiceman) here.
Have a question for you. Do you set up web sites?
As you may recall I work P/T for Route 46 VIP Corvettes in Sorrento, Fl.
Owner Donna Korb, has need for someone to fix her web site, and because your CorvetteFlorida site is so nice, I thought you'd be the perfect person to take on her need.

I am using the private message feature to tell you a story about me and my bitter pill I had to swallow. In 1981 I had open heart surgery at age 41 and my company wanted to put me out to pasture but I convinced them I could still do my job. I spent the next ten years clawing my way from being a clerk to the promotion I was ready for before the surgery. I invested all my energy into proving I was capable of doing my job I would devote my weekends or nights whatever was needed to get the job done. Then one day while I was on a trip for the company I received a call from the head of the plant were I worked and was told that I was being demoted back to being a clerk because he got caught not providing a customer’s order. I went to the head of the company and showed him a letter I had written 3 months earlier to three different department heads warning them about the upcoming need for this item to be built. I also showed the letter to the plant manager but to no avail I was demoted and humiliated in front of my peers. Since I had 30 years with the company I decided to retire and started to look for a new job which I found. On my last day before retirement the plant manager called me in at 7:30 in the morning and wanted to know if I was leaving because of him. He wanted me to ease his conscious which pissed me off and I walked out past the people I had worked with and who had a retirement party all spread out for my last day with them.
Now I went to the new job and 6 weeks later I was fired for the first time in my life. From there I started another job search and finally was able to get a job as a checkout clerk in a grocery store.
I am sure you can imagine what I felt like every time I meant someone from my former employer standing in the check out for me to wait on to say nothing about the family and friends or neighbors.
Now during this first year I also paid a head hunter to find me a better job and he took all my savings and then filed bankruptcy. Again I had to swallow my pride and endure the wrath of God (My wife) for losing all of our savings.
All of sudden I was having trouble with my health and again had open heart surgery in the middle of a house painting job I had taken to put food on the table after losing all of my savings.
My first year of retirement was a nightmare for me It was supposed to be a time of joy instead I felt like I was the poster child for making stupid decisions.
So yes Rich I certainly understand your feelings at this time but what we all are trying to say is what you perceive as being held up as having made a bad decision about your car does not reflect on you but rather on Chris who took a lot of trusting people down a very devious path for his own personal gain. Remember when you hired him to do your car he probably had done some good work for others and based on that you hired him to build your dream car. Your dream car is not dead and you are not being held up for ridicule but rather Chris is the one who has earned the title of stupid or bonehead or just plain thief.
